Heirloom Tomatoes from Sol Organics!

A friend once told me in the early days of running the store, “don’t forget why you moved here. Make sure you make time to pursue what you love.” With summer finally arriving I have managed to get away a few days to do just that. Last weekend proved to be a cosmic fishing experience. Maybe I had left over fairy dust from the previous evening while attending the Shakespeare in the Park performance of a Midsummer Nights Dream. I don’t know, but as an avid fly fisher, I have always hoped to one day catch a Grayling and a Golden Trout. On Monday, August 16th I caught one of each.  Wow!! What a fabulous day! This is why I live here!

My first Golden Trout. The colors on the trout were amazing. I hooked and lost his big brother a few minutes later…about a 16 incher!! Oh well, at least I got a good look at him!

What’s new... we have lots of Heirloom Tomatoes from Sol Organics and are doing our best to keep fresh Mozzarella in stock.
